Simon Doonan is wickedly funny, brillant, sweet, silly and GLAMOROUS! Reading this book is like having a conversation with your best gay friend. It's not necessarily a how-to book but a hilarious look at what not to do. Simon's just "say no to ho!" pretty much sums that up, heehee. Mixed in are some stories that will make you laugh out loud.
I particularly liked his stories about having the Avon Lady come to his home when he was a kid, his jazzercise obsession and his adventures in celebrity impersonation. If you are looking for a the typical style advice book this is not it... however, if you want to get a glimpse into personal style and some hilarious stories.. this is the book for you! :)
Simon reminds us not to take life too seriously and have FUN with Fashion! :) I'm already reading his "Wacky Chicks" book on my trusty Kindle. I heart you Simon and the love of your life Jonathan Adler is one of my favorites too! Talk about a Power Couple! :)
