I have to catch up on my blog here. There have been so many fun things going on. However, I wanted to show a pic of my constant companion, The Doggles. I love this picture of her too. I took it of her this summer in Sedona, AZ and she had a blast, she is a great hiker on the red rocks. More pics to come soon!

Flipping Out - Zoila's Birthday

I have to admit that I LOVE Jeff Lewis and Flipping Out! This episode of Zoila's birthday just cracked me up. This group is so hysterical that I swear I would love to hang out with them for at least a week. Also, if I were a gay man I would TOTALLY want to marry Jeff. Even if he is a bit crazy, I adore him. I also think that he was much nicer this season so I cannot wait to see Season 3!

I will be waiting for the next season and love Jeff, Jenni and Zoila!

Simon Doonan: Eccentric Glamour Book Review

Simon Doonan is wickedly funny, brillant, sweet, silly and GLAMOROUS! Reading this book is like having a conversation with your best gay friend. It's not necessarily a how-to book but a hilarious look at what not to do. Simon's just "say no to ho!" pretty much sums that up, heehee. Mixed in are some stories that will make you laugh out loud.

I particularly liked his stories about having the Avon Lady come to his home when he was a kid, his jazzercise obsession and his adventures in celebrity impersonation. If you are looking for a the typical style advice book this is not it... however, if you want to get a glimpse into personal style and some hilarious stories.. this is the book for you! :)

Simon reminds us not to take life too seriously and have FUN with Fashion! :) I'm already reading his "Wacky Chicks" book on my trusty Kindle. I heart you Simon and the love of your life Jonathan Adler is one of my favorites too! Talk about a Power Couple! :)

Olive Riley, World's Oldest Blogger Passes Away at the age of 108

Olive Riley, the world's oldest blogger, passed away on Saturday, July 12th at the age of 108. Her blog The Life of Riley drew in people from all over the world. "Ollie" had many fans and friends and will greatly be missed.

Miss Get Lucky

I secret shopped Miss Get Lucky and purchased this FABULOUS DRESS!!! Oh yes, it is truly fabulous and it has quickly become one of my faves. I wore it today while out shopping with Mr. PM and threw on some cute flip flops and a white jean jacket. However, I wore it out last weekend to a very fancy restaurant with some fabulous heels. This is just one of those dresses that you can dress up or down, wear casual or look elegant. It fits so well and will make you look extremely fabulous too! I check out Miss Get Lucky all the time to see what new arrivals they have and considering this dress retailed for $380.00 and you can now get it for $135.20, it's a bargain and you will not believe the compliments you will receive.

Watermelons for Viagara or Art?

Today I was over at Whole Foods and a man who was much older than me was buying 5 HUGE watermelons. In my neighborhood I would normally think that he must be someone from a restaurant but it appeared to be all personal shopping. So I was curious if this guy was taking the new about Watermelon rind having a "viagra" effect THAT seriously. Check out a story on it HERE.

What is Your RAK of the Day?

On Monday she asked that everyone get a card and send it to someone that you haven't talked to in a long time. Funny thing as I went to have my car detailed and picked up this card that said "So many men... so few that can afford us" and it had these illustrations that looked like me and my dear friend and it cracked me up. Now we are both married but I knew she would get a laugh out of it as well sooooo off it was mailed! She is in Hawaii right now but will let you know what she says upon her return.

The Story of Us: Our RAKers!

DH asked me to go shopping! woohoo

Seriously you could have knocked me over with a feather... heehee. However, Mr. PM just moved into new offices and frankly his office furniture looked pretty sad compared to his business partners. He is not one to be fussy about such things but one of the other executives was going on about how ugly the sofa is in Mr. PM's office. I have made this same statement for the past 6 years to no avail.

However, today I stopped over to take a look at the new place and there it was standing out like a sore thumb. I asked Mr. PM why he couldn't see how truly awful the sofa was and he had some emotional attachment to it which was rather funny coming from him. However, I convinced him that it was really awful and he needed to get something new in there. Although I say "no" to a sofa b/c only 2 people are going to sit on it.. who wants to be the third person sitting THAT close to a co-worker, heehee. So I have convinced him to get four cozy chairs and a couple of small side tables that can all be moved around. He really liked the idea. So off to shopping I go! YAY!

Wow Wii

I LOVE my Wii, seriously I do. You can do Aerobics, Yoga, strength training, etc. AND you can also keep a journal of your other workouts and keep track of everything in your Wii. It weighs you, gets your BMI and Fit Age too. I love the graphs and you see all of your progress every single day.

The games are fun too however, Mr. PM knocked me out in boxing last night :-( I also noticed that he has become very competitive in beating all of my scores too. LOL I'm still working out with my trainer but this is definitely a "fun" supplement into your regular workout routine.http://www.castocreationsjewelry.blogspot.com/

Oh How I Love My Kindle :)

I recently received this as a gift from my Dear MIL and FIL and I absolutely ADORE it! You can automatically purchase all the books you want to read and have instant access to them. You can even write notes, highlight, etc. You can even get your email from the Kindle but I have not even attempted to figure this out as I am very happy reading. This is great if you are always on the go (which who isn't these days) and you can have multiple books that you are reading at a time, I love it. The only downside is Mr. PM decided to order a book on it and now we are fighting for Kindle time (make sure to get your husband his own!) :)

Mind Over Muddle

I had a spa day with some friends a couple of weeks ago and after one of my treatments I was given a glass of water with this wonderful elixir, Mind over Muddle. I purchased some as the spa but found you can purchase it HERE for much less. I have only tried these cold but you can make them hot too but hey it's summer! :) Also, you don't need a lot as I put 1/2 ounce of the Elixir in a 8 ounce glass of water then put some fresh mint and YUM a great treat and only 65 calories, 0 fat, 0 cholesterol, 15.5 total carbs, 5 sugars, 0 protein. It contains no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. I also purchased Depth Recharger Elixir but haven't tasted it yet so stay tuned :)

Cute Lamps

I found these cute lamps at wshome.com while I was browsing around for chairs. I think the sea urchin one would be fun to have in the guest bedroom and I'm not sure where I put the others b/c I'm a bit obsessed with lamps like chairs and have too many! :)

I had a great holiday and it was fun spending time with family and dear friends relaxing. I really did not work at all this holiday but sadly came back to over 8k emails, requests, etc. I'm slowly making my way through the numbers today though.

Poochie's Favorite Toy

She has the smaller one of course (she only weighs 6 lbs.) and it is her favorite toy. She carries it around by the handle and throws it up in the air! It's really funny to watch her play with it and of course I love that she is obsessed with a this toy handbag and not my shoes! :)

This is My Go-to Outifit! (Looks Great on Everyone)

Seriously, if you are only going to invest in one piece make it a DVF Wrap dress... You can put a cute cami under it for a more conservative look too. This dress makes everyone look wonderful as it fits just right. However, if you order DVF online remember that they tend to run small.
